Do I need an air blower?

Our spa was redone last year and the installers (according to one kooky tech) never worked out the electricity to the ancient air blower. I hooked it up to a 20a extension cord and it didn't fire up so I'm pretty sure it is dead. It would be fairly easy to attach a Jandy blower to the existing air pipe and wire it to the Jandy controller.

But, my question is - do I really need/want more air? Currently the spa pump seems to pull air in through two of the six jets. Not sure from where - I guess the air pipe to the old blower? Seems ok to me. Am I really missing out on more bubbles? I think I prefer a nice massage feel but not chaos and splashing. I also find the air cools the water jets. See attached photo (couldn't attach video). Would a blower send air to all six jets or just the same two?

I dont use my blower most times I use the spa. About 1 in 3 times of using the spa, I will run the blower for a minute or so because of little bubble action and the blower help kick start the bubbles.

If its working without it, I would say leave it alone. As you said, if you decide you need one down the road it should be easy to add.

After taking the photo for this post and seeing only two of five jets blowing air, I went to the pool plumbing area and found an air line split with one side closed. The handle had a "?" on as apparently nobody knew what it was for. I opened it and voila - five of six jets now blowing air. I can hear it being sucked in the opening on the broken antique blower. Looks like plenty of air to me. Problem solved I guess.
