My inground pool has a line that goes to the main drain at the bottom of the pool.
I lowered the water just below the jets at the end of September and blew out all of lines etc. I put anti-freeze in my return lines and in the line that goes to the main drain.
I checked today and the water was about a foot lower that where I believe I lowered it to.
The main drain line also looks rather empty. Usually when I open in the spring there will still be antifreeze sitting in the skimmer but it's dry right now.
Is the drop in water normal if it's been warmer out for the past month or so? The mornings have been cold but the days have been pretty nice.
I am adding water to it right now to bring it up towards the jets.
