DIY Inground Liner Pool - Pictures

Happy to see this thread as I've been lurking on royal swimming pools and configuring a dream pool for some time. However when you search them you see some nasty reviews. More than likely a lot to do with pandemic lead times.

How helpful are they once you configure your order? I just sort of put all the most expensive pieces in the cart and hope they all work with each other how I'd expect, but I was wondering if they step in and help you better configure pieces at all. Or any other custom requests, etc.

Yes - the nasty reviews worried me as well but most of them have to do with the pandemic. Last year around this time I would call them and need to be on hold for like an hour to get a hold of someone. It isn't like that now, usually someone picks up within a couple rings. Once the order finally shipped, I had no issues. Nothing was missing, nothing was damaged. There is so much stuff that gets shipped especially with an automatic pool cover, I was nervous something would be missing.

There should be an option to save your order once in your cart, once you do that you can call them up and they can pull it up. They advised me on a couple things before I ordered, they were helpful. They did insist I get an inline chlorinator though, which now being part of TFP I realize I did not need, I stopped using it once my CYA was in range and will probably remove it soon.

Things are still crazy with the supply chain, so if you do order, I would just expect the worst in terms of shipment times and be pleasantly surprised if it comes sooner. Ordering anytime soon I wouldn't expect to install the pool until 2022 unless you are in a warm climate.

I was also looking at pool warehouse, I never once got a hold of someone on the phone there. Not sure if that is different, but that scared me away from them.

I used poolwarehouse and had about the same experience you did with Royal. I think last year was crazy period. I was very happy with poolwarehouse, I did have a couple of missing parts and they took care of it ASAP.
