My diverter valve is leaking around the stem. I plan to replace the o-rings, but I'm having trouble identifying the brand of diverter valve since there doesn't appear to be any legible markings. I'm leaning towards pentair but probably wrong. Can anyone help out?

Looks like Pentair.

Are there markings on the bottom?

I found this label on another one of my valves that looks exactly the same otherwise. Looking up the numbers online says Praher Plastics. Is that the name of the valve manufacturer? Or just the company that made the plastic? I just need to make sure the manufacturer before ordering replacements.PXL_20230215_182631149.jpg

Praher is a different company from Pentair.

Praher does make some valves for Pentair like multiport valves.

Praher might make the Pentair three-way valves, but I don't know if they do or not.

I don't know if the parts are compatible.

The catalog shows the part numbers.

I would replace the whole valve.

Even if you are not going to replace the valve, I would still buy the whole valve and just pull out the parts because the whole valve will cost about the same amount as buying the parts individually.

If you end up needing the body, then you will already have it.

To me the old one looks cracked.

That all makes sense. Thanks so much for your help!

As a follow-up, do you think this two-way diverter is also Praher? This valve also has a slight leak at the stem. Thanks!

I agree. With that said, several vendors lump Praher and Pentair products together. Does anyone know if Pentair bought Praher or if parts are compatible?
If all you are doing is replacing O rings, they are all the same, lid and stem. As Jandy was the predominate 3-way valve for a long time, all other manufacturers made theirs to match so that actuators would fit. The internals are different. All handles will fit, but not necessarily "lock" in place.

I would try the Jandy o-rings, Ive found they seem to be a universal size on the stems, actuators also fit an all the valves I have used, Jandy, Compool, Hayward, etc.
