Digi-220 and pool pump

Hi all. I am no longer getting power to the receptical wired to the digi-220. The red wire going into the receptical is not hot. Not sure if it is the relay. Any way to bypass control of the receptical from the digi? I really don't need to use it to program the pump. I just want to be able to use the outlet. Thank you!

Show us pictures of what you are describing.

The Dig-220 does not have outlets on it.

It sounds like you have a basic electrical problem.

OK, so you have a basic electrical outlet problem.

I have no idea how the wiring is to the outlet.

Have you checked the Circuit Breaker?

You have a multimeter and know how to use it?

Yes, breaker is good. My neighbor used multimeter and the white wire was hot. The red wire leading to digi had no power.
Color of wires are meaningless.

White wire should not be hot if standard wire color coding was used.

I suggest you have an electrician look at it.

If the DIG-220 has a relay, you can check the relay to see if power is getting to the line terminals and to the load terminals.

You can see if the coil is getting power on command for Pump On.

You can bypass the relay, but you really need to know exactly what you are doing before you start getting into things like this.

Only do what you are 100% sure that you can do safely.

OK thank you. Do you have a picture of what wires to check or where to look for those wires? I definitely won't try to bypass but it is faulty I may be able to replace it.

Can you show the breaker that powers the system?

Is the breaker GFCI?

Is the pump 120 or 240 volts?

Does the DIG-220 display light up?

What happens if you press the Pump button?

Did you measure for power at the breaker?

Is the breaker single pole or double pole?

What pump do you have?

Has the DIG-220 previously controlled the pump power?

If yes, through the dig-220 timer or just On/Off Pump button?

The digi controlled the pump with pump up. Breaker is good. I changed to external timer to see if that would work but still nothing. The only thing not working is the outlet. If I plug the pump into another receptical the system is fine. I am working outside my knowledge base at this point and am just going to call an electrician. I really appreciate all your help! Thank you.
