Deck Joint Sealant

Hello everyone!
We're first time pool owners (just bought the house two weeks ago) and I'm glad I found this website before I fell down the pool store rabbit hole. In getting the pool ready for the season, I need to redo the joint sealant. What's everyone's preferred brand/method for doing this?
On a related topic, what about coatings for the decking around the pool? Ours is old and deteriorated.
