Dead algae

I have an 18 foot Bestway round pool, however, it doesn’t come outfitted with a skimmer of any kind. I had green algae but I successfully killed it all, scrubbed everything down, and it’s now white and on the bottom of the pool. The problem is... the vacuum it came with only does debris - the white mesh bag hooked up to a brush and water hose, that’s it. The pump is on the ground, not attached to the pool. I’ve tried everything short of breaking the bank. Advice please!

I don't know how this would work, but it might help a lot- knowing how to siphon water with a hose might allow you to aim the pool side end of the hose along the bits of dead algae and siphon it away that way. I'd go very slowly moving the hose end around. You'll just have to replace the siphoned water when done.

Do you know how to use a simple hose to siphon?? Check YouTube for videos if you don't.

Might be worth a try.....?

I use a dress sock over the little bag to catch the finer sand and stuff and hold it in place with a fat rubberband on my hose and bag cleaner. Some folks use a car cleaning mitt. Many ideas on u tube. There are a couple suggestions on here about hand held vacs too.
