I'm nearing the end of my opening SLAM, and getting debris out of the pool from winter, had a failure in cover at some spots unfortunately.
Im noticing some stuff floating around in the water, its typically at the floor but sometimes gets kicked up. It looks like snot, or kind of like Kalvin from the movie Life if anyone is familiar (the early form).
My pool was green when i opened, so im wondering if this isnt just dead algae. What i found google searching Was talking about white water mold. Im assuming its possible i got that stuff in my plumbing, but i wouldnt expect that to make it past the sand filter and into the pool. My other concern is that my liner is disintegrating

FC: 12 (been holding 14 for SLAM)
CC: 0
CYA: 35
PH: 7.4
TA: 60
CH: 50 (just added about 5 - 6lbs of CH this evening)
