New pool startup day 4. 33k gallons pool/hot tub with wet edge Primera stone plaster. Been brushing twice a day and following NPC guide. Added liquid chlorine to my pool last night. Today the readings-chlorine is good at 3 ppm, PH is 7.8 and alkalinity is around 90 and hardness is good. Today instructions say to add stabilizer for cya. Current CYA is 0. Pool company gave me 10 lb to add and then said after put two chlorine pucks in each skimmer. The NPC guide just says to add the cya and nothing about the chlorine pucks. I know the pucks have stabilizer in them so just want to be careful of adding the stabilizer to the skimmer now and then more from the pucks? Also since PH is a little high guide says 7.2 to 7.6 should I add some acid?

Add the 10lbs of stabilizer using the sock method. Don't put it in the skimmer.
Do not put the trichlor tablets in your skimmer. Never add any chemicals directly into your skimmer.
pH of 7.8 is ok. Maybe a bit of acid to lower it to 7.6 but that is all.
