I took a photo of system and filters, but it’s telling me they are too large for the server…

I do not see turquoise, which would be copper.
In any case, I believe that it is probably copper stains.
You can try Jack’s #2 and then drain and refill if it is safe to drain without floating the pool out of the ground.
You can try a zero TA treatment, but that will eat some plaster and make the plaster rougher, but not as bad as an acid wash.

Copper is usually black or turquoise.
You might also have some silver, which is in some mineral systems and in some algaecides.

Looks like an ozone/AOP system … might be a typical “low chlorine ozone” Texas pool … very common there.
Another option is to sand with a power sander and diamond grit pads.
I would probably do a Jack’s #2 followed by a drain and sand with fine grit diamond pads.
Note that draining always involves risk and you need to be sure that the pool will not float or have any other adverse effects.

Yes this is exactly what it is. I have Ajax magic stain ID kit coming, but it doesn’t arrive until March 31..
Get a local service person who knows the ground water situation.
You can also dig a hole to check for ground water.
Many pools have a sump pit for this reason.
If you have high ground water, maybe put in a sump pit.
Okay friends… the #2 Copper one was the one with the best results. Now how to treat this entire area?

Basically - lift the stains, drain the pool, refill with metal free water … and make sure there are no copper products ever used in your pool.
But how does one “lift the stain” considering it’s such a large area? Like do I now just dump in a ton of this copper stain solution?
