CYA test - clear water?

Hi all!

I have a taylor k2006c test kit and tonight I tried a new test tonight - CYA.

1. I filled the bottle to the lower mark
2. I added the R0013 reagent to the upper mark
3. Mixed for 30 seconds
4. The water never turned cloudy as the instructions suggested they would.
5. I poured it in the smaller tube but could see the black mark just fine all the way to the top.

What could this indicate?

Your CYA is less than 20ppm.

What temperature is your pool water? I believe really cold water impacts this test.
