I’ve been seeking and using the advice on this forum for a long time now but never had the opportunity to give back. So hopefully this post will help someone!
I finally bit the bullet and bought a robotic pool vacuum— a Maytronics Dolphin Aquarius XL. My plan was to leave it in the pool while we’re not using it which is most days and set it in a schedule. I couldn’t imagine leaving the control unit out in the sun and rain so I custom “fabricated” a weatherproof box for it. I bought a weatherproof box off Amazon, mounted the control unit inside it, and cut holes for the vacuum cable and power cords. Then I mounted the box near on the side of the spa.
Anyway, I thought I’d share the idea here in case anyone else might find it useful.
