Just moved into new house and last owner did patch job on top pool step, he put bondo over crack, apparently held for few years but cracked and came off, probley with bondo is no flex, what im thinking trying is sanding step down around cracked areas, then filling cracks and around cracks with silicon/rubber, and then covering with ether liquid flex-seal or epoxy, not worried about steps lasting for years and wont be stepping on areas where cracks where, just want opinion on if think will hold, usually 2 inches of water on top step, unfortunately cant lower it any more because will drop to low on skimmer, in year or 2 ill replace steps
