long story short, opened the pool, stayed cloudy, checked the filter and noticed the manifold was cracked. assuming this is causing DE to go back into my pool and causing the cloudiness. is there a way to fix it temporarily until one comes in? marine grade epoxy the Darn out of it? have heard to get valpak manifolds but they’ll take a week or 2 to get here.

You have no idea all the places I've used JB Weld. Ha. They have their traditional stuff, but also have marine products and a quick set (5 min) version that hardens up fast. I'd give it a shot for sure.
honestly i’m switching to a sand filter next year and even tho the manifold is only $75, i really don’t wanna spend it when it’s getting replaced.
