Hi,
My Jandy system is over 12 years old and has been temperamental in the past few years.
My latest problem mirrors what's described in this thread:
Jandy 1400 Power Transformer Burned...And?
where the molex connnector between the transformer and power board has melted. In the hopes of a quick fix; I replaced the power board but I'm still having issues. I believe the pins in the molex are the problem. I'm going to pursue fixing that for now (pigtails form the back of the PCB or a new/used transformer) but in the longer term, some on that thread suggested moving off Jandy altogether. I'd gladly do it
.
If I were to move to the Circupool RJ-60 for Cl generation; can I continue to use my Jandy RS4 to control my Jandy VSP (which is still running strong)?
I'd imagine I just 'disable' the SWG on the PDA as if it never existed? If you've done something similar - would appreciate any advice.
I'm hoping to DIY it.
Thanks
