Then tonight once the sun drops add 15FC bleach to the pool. Test again in the morning. You'll have to guess and match colors until your test kit arrives, but we can keep on moving at this point. Raise the FC again to 15.

I hope you know just how much I appreciate your constant help!!! Bless you!!!! Raised level and tested it about 30 minutes later. Very very bright yellow which tells me it's where it needs to be. I will update you in the morning, thank you again so very much!!
I just want you to know that we won't help if you don't post more pictures. Just kidding. But really, good luck with the conversion, and I look forward to the pretty colors. You'll be swimming in clear, sparkly water soon enough.
Test this afternoon and evening as both times the FC levels should be very low. Brush the heck out of everything you can get to. Raise the FC to 15 and toss in anything that has ever touched the Baquacil. Brushes, vacuums, toys, solar covers, and so forth. Let them sit in the mixture to clean them off. The more you can raise the FC to 15 today, the faster the process will go......BUT don't go overboard with it, as you're not 100% sure on your results over 5. Maybe a test this afternoon and again in the evening should be enough until you get your TF-100.

techguy....you are too funny! I am excited too.....the steps have never looked so clean!!!! Its been three weeks of nothing but green....the blue coming through is just mind blowing.....I know Im making a big deal out of it, but when you wake up in the morning and the first thing you do is go outside to see what color it is day after day after day....the promise of a better tomorrow from people like you and this site is so much sweeter!

Ha! I cant wait!!! My husband is as nuts over it as I am, its a mad rush outside with the dog to look at the pool, then the disapointment sets in, then...like the crazies we are, we go back to look later like the thing was going to magically change with this Baqu---what was that stuff called...hmmm, nevermind....not to mention we have an 8 yr old girl and a 7 year old boy that constantly say " can we swim...when can we swim...we wanna swim...mom are we getting in the pool today?" from sun up through sun down. I cannot tell ALL of you how much I appreciate and BLESS you ALL for this site and your help!!!
Your lucky to be able to keep the dog out... my dog would jump into the pool and look at me like "Hey...come on in... water's great.. Squirt me the water toy...bird....hey you coming in?
techguy....we put up a gate to keep her out. She's an Aussie and LOVES the pool....would constantly be in it if I would let her. I will post a picture of the whole yard....and the new deck we just built once it gets a sparkling clean and clear!
I am working on a gate. Right now I have board I place over the ladder that she can climb to get into the pool. Most of my deck is 3 feet below the top rail. I don't like standing at the top of the fence line when I am on the deck.

I have neighbors on all sides. When we are standing on the back deck, at fence top level, we can see directly down into two yards but not the third because of a tree, otherwise we are standing four feet in the air, one foot from their back yard.
