Our patio was poured just over a month ago, pool still not plastered (just to give an idea of where we are at). Today I found a crack that runs from the skimmer hole which is located right next to the coping to the wall for a total of about 7.5 ft. There are several stress joints throughout the patio and this section is one of the smaller sections. Is this something that needs to be fixed or is it normal?

I find myself asking this question of the builder frequently on things that I know need to be. So I wanted to check with you guys like I did with our coping before to see if this is something to go to the builder about. Thanks!

Julie

Can you provide a picture from a greater distance to give a better perspective of the situation, one that includes the skimmer and the wall you describe?

So the crack runs from the edge of that skimmer ring close to the coping all the way to the wall, meandering a little but continuously.
