Looking for suggestions on what to do with my 11 year old concrete pool deck. It appears to be in good shape but there is always a sandy gravely substance coming up on feet that ends up in the pool. I have tried sweeping and pressure washing thinking it was dirt or sand blown in from the surrounding yard but now I think the pool deck surface is actually coming up.
Is there anything that can be done to fix this? I have owned the pool now coming up on my 4th summer and to my knowledge it has never been sealed (not sure if this is the issue or if it would even help). I have used a pressure washer on it twice and have stopped thinking it might be causing more harm than good.
