Concerns About Pool Liner Longevity Due to rocks under liner

Hello!

This month, we installed a new above-ground pool and discovered a 3-foot squared-off ledge (about 1/4 inch deep) along with a few sharp rocks under the pool liner. I'm concerned that this might reduce the liner's lifespan. Should I contact the installer, or is this a common issue?

is this a round or oval pool? if oval, is what you are feeling part of the bracing underneath the middle? sounds like installer didn't cover with enough sand. all can cause holes which can be patched but if it is a new install might be worth making them come fix and reinstall. if older there is real risk to liner if it gets dried out.
