Coming off an 8 day SLAM, FC still 15 3 days later with CYA 50 (SLAM level was 20)?

So, coming off an 8 day SLAM, there has been no addition of any chlorine from my SWG as the breaker has been off since starting the process. Day 1 after slam FC dropped from 20 to 15 (actually a bit worried still needed SLAM levels as I thought to myself maybe it's feeding on something still). Fast forward 3 days - still at FC 15 and .5 CC. I live in Orlando and it's been crazy hot and sunny this past week with a couple of long hard afternoon rains to fill. I figured I would lose at least 1-2 FC per day with CYA at 50, but not moving.

I am hesitant to raise CYA off the 50 to recommended 60-70 level until I can get the FC levels to fall to 8, then fire up the SWG again and work on balancing everything back to normal. Any thoughts on why the FC are not moving after 3 days post SLAM?

It may be warm out, but not July warm and also perhaps due to the lower angle of the sun. Take it as a blessing that the FC is holding well so that you should have little to no issues when it's time to close. I'd also leave the CYA alone.
