Combined Chlorine went up during SLAM

Hi everyone, I would like to ask
will Combined Chlorine up during SLAM?
I have done the test in a pool chemical store. thanks

You really need a FAS-DPD based chlorine test; the pool store numbers are so often wrong that they cannot be trusted.

CC’s above 0 are indicative of your FC eating up organic matter. That’s normal in a SLAM, and is one criteria to know when a SLAM is finishing.

You absolutely need a reliable test kit. Unfortunately those results you have are meaningless. Take a look at Pool Store Experiment Water Samples

Since you said you went to the pool store, did you add any other chemicals they recommended? Some stuff can read as CC
