I have a 22ft x 52 inch Coleman pool that I am upgrading the pump and filter on. It currently has the system that came with it. But just isn’t powerful enough to clean the pool to open for the season. Do I need to buy special adapters to hook up the hoses? Seems like the hoses that came with the new pump is larger than the ones on the pool now.

The Coleman pool uses proprietary hoses and connections. There are quite a few threads on how to hook up an Intex / Bestway / Coleman pool to larger above ground pumps & filters.
Did you get another portable pump/filter or is it the typical AGP pump / filter & hoses with 1-1/2" connections?
