17800 gallon Salt Water/Vinyl Pool on the Jersey Shore with tons of pollen. I cannot seem to get my water to stop being cloudy in the deep end. The shallow end is not bad. This is my first year with the pool, since it was installed so late last year.
FC- 8.57
pH- 8
Alk- 120
Calc- 58
CYA- 45
Phosphates- 119
Salt- 2451
Waiting on the real test kit, so just going off Leslie numbers so far. I've turned down the dial on the salt generator when the FC was getting so high.
Waiting on calcium to be delivered from a big box store.
Do I keep working on the pH (I put in 1 liter of 27% muratic acid yesterday- a strip brought the pH down to the 7.8 level today)? Should I now just get the chlorine to a SLAM level with the liquid chlorine?
Thanks in advance.
