Okay, also not sure if I should post a new thread but there's so much debris coming out my return, like I stated before my polaris only runs about two hours before the screen is clogged

What is the screen clogged with? Is it the dead algae, or some foreign debris?
You need to keep at the SLAM, until all signs of algae are gone, dead or alive, as well as pass the Overnight Chlorine Loss Test, and have a CC of <0.5ppm.
At this point, I would do a deep clean on the sandfilter, as it seems to be possible that the sand has become hard-packed and channeling has occurred.
