Hey folks question around in-ground pool cleaning with in-pool seating.
My Polaris P39 constantly gets stuck trying to maneuver around the in-pool seats next to a wall. Does anyone have any ideas on how to prevent this issue (something placed between the seats perhaps)?
one idea, depending on where your hose connection is for cleaner is to shorten the hose so it cannot get into that space. This assumes that when it is shortened that it can access the other needed parts of the pool.
Some people have submerged plastic baby gates and other barriers while the cleaner is running to prevent it from getting caught is complicated pool layouts. Submerged seats and tables are definitely a problem for almost all pool cleaners. No easy fix, just trial and error.
Not surprisingly, it's one of those things that a pool builder fails to disclose or at least bring to your attention. Never occurred to me that it would be able to sneak up and around and really get hung up in there.
I will attempt the baby gate option but also thought maybe 2 large plastic trash cans (one on each end - I have 3 seats) to create some oversize barrier.
