I was just wondering if anyone has come up with a faster and better way to clean cartridge filters other than washing them down with a hose. Does anyone use some type of soap or cleaner? I've heard some people bring them a car wash or use a trash bin to soak them. TIA.

I can't believe it's mid-October. and I'm still able to use the pool. Temps are still around the 100F mark here in AZ. at least for the next couple of days before it hits the 80's normal temps.

I don’t do anything special. I bought the filter flosser and can’t find it. Oh well.

I also bought a second set of filters just so I can get the pool back up and running. Then I can rinse off the filters that came out and take my sweet time.

The fan tip works great to get between the pleats when its turned vertical and you can go all the way in with standard hose pressure without worrying about doing damage like you would with a pressure washer.
