The vacuum hose keeps slipping off the vacuum fitting. I would prefer to spend a few bucks for the right kind of stainless steel clamp or a plastic one, versus buying a new vacuum or hose. I found a Hayward stainless steel clamp, but who knows if it's a legit product. I would like to start leaving the vacuum hooked up and left in the pool versus laying around. I would have it attached to the telescopic pole and secured to the ladder. The vacuum isn't "vacuuming" unless I put the skimmer box lid in the down position. So I'm looking for a clamp that can remain in the pool all the time. Anyone have a suggestion?
