Circupool Salt Cell Bad?

Hello, I'm on my 3rd season with the Circupool RJ60 SWG - I'll attach some photos of what looks like rust on the end of the cell where the salt gets created. I have to keep it at 100% 24/7 to even produce some chlorine and even then I have to add some liquid chlorine every few days. There are no maintenance or error lights on the control panel. The past 2 seasons I generally kept it at 50%-75% all the time and everything worked fine. I'm not sure if the cell is bad or just has to be cleaned - I searched a few threads here stating its actually not a good idea to do the cleaning they suggest as it may damage the cell even more. Does it look bad? Thanks

I am having the same issue with mine but only after a year and have gotten absolutely garbage support from Circupool. You need to rule out algae first with an overnight chlorine loss test and then you can run your pump and swg overnight and see what happens.
