I recently received new RJ60 system and I notice some irregularities on the electrode surface. They are not uniform grey, there are covered in spots that seems like oxidation - browning, greenish spots. I'm attaching a pic, but it's a bit hard to see since the cell itself is quite shiny

I read that the titanium electrodes are covered with uthenium or iridium oxide, so maybe it has something to do with it, but i wouldn't mind to see some uniformity. Just checking with the community if theirs were the same on arrival.
Another question I have is about the unions on the cell. They are not standard union size at all - not even close size and thread wise with a 2" pvc union. I was thinking I would create a bypass with a straight pipe and 2 unions, but it seems like the only option is to buy the bypass from CurcuPool. Is that everyone's experience as well?
Thank you!
