Hello TFPers,

My 13th year of TFP, going into 3rd season with SWCG (thank you for helping me with install) RJ 60+ plus. I'm in Chicago and bring equipment, plumbing, etc in a garage or shed for off-season. SWCG and parts go into the basement.

Got everything up and running last weekend, but then a few days ago I see there is a no flow error. Flow is very strong, filter clean, and while I typically run it on low, I had the pump on high - there is definitely plenty of flow.

Powered it down and back on - still saying no flow. Checked the plug and jack to make sure they are clean, and it started generating.

Further research on this forum and troubleshooting, and the fact that a few times jiggling the cord caused it to go from generate to no flow tell me it's the cord. Could it be this small pinch (see pic) that is the source of my issue? Kind of hard to see in pic, but there is no bare wire showing.

It has been running fine last few days, but if I were to jiggle the cord the no flow error appears so this is going to keep happening.

Should I just cut the pinched section out and splice back together?

Can I buy just the cord separately? I couldn't find that via circupool and I don't know what it is called exactly other than a 'telephone looking cord.'

I also could purchase a whole new flow switch under warranty, which in the 3rd year I believe means I pay 60% of the $80 list price.

I'm kind of leaning towards purchasing new switch under warranty, using that cord and then I'll have a spare flow switch if I can't repair or purchase separately.

I think that is already too many words for a crimped telephone cord, so appreciate any recommendations or thoughts on best course of action.

Thx
Paul
