I'm close to shutting down my pool for the year and have been running my pump and SWG at night to keep algae at bay until the water cools down. I'm pretty close, water temps are 60 - 62 after a few cold nights. Yesterday and today I noticed a new, distinct buzzing sound coming from the Circupool head unit. It seems to be producing chlorine OK but the new sound has me a bit concerned. The unit was installed new in late April/May 2022. It has always made a bit of sound when generating but it is more of a low hum, not a louder electrical buzzing sound. Is this normal or something I should be concerned with?

Thanks.

Your unit is still under warranty, so you might contact Discount Salt Pools for their thoughts. But in the thread below their noise was related to the cooling fan. See post #9. Others mention the plastic housing a bit loose and the vibration causing some noises.

I have a 10+ year old CompuPool SWG and mine started to make a loud buzzing sound. I took it apart expecting I'd have to replace the transformer, but it was just loose screws. The screws holding the transformer had backed out a bit and allowed it to vibrate.
