It seems that my swg is stuck in reverse negative-polarity causing it not to generate chlorine. According to the manual this is a normal cleaning function it does automatically. However, it been this way for days. This was installed a few weeks ago but, I was using lots of liquid bleach to clean the swamp.

The pictures show the voltage, cell amps and salt levels.

Is there a way to reset or stop the cleaning? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I left the pump and salt water generator run all night and found the cell had 0.0 amps. Turned it off again for 5 minutes and everything went back to normal. This afternoon, it was back to -5 amps.

I threw in a few pounds of shock to get me through the night and will call Circupool customer service in the morning. Their business hours are Monday - Friday 8 am to 5 pm central time.

Are you sure it wasn't between run (generation) cycles? Remember it will run for about an 45 min to an hour or so then rest for 90 minutes or so. In the rest cycle all numbers will be zero. Whenever you turn off the unit, by default it goes into a new generating cycle. One cycle could be negative, then the next cycle be positive. Bubbles at the return jets should mean it's working.
