FYI for those that have this problem in the future. I read past posts about the same issue here. Discountsaltpool.com has changed how they deal with this issue. They asked me no questions and did not try any troubleshooting. I bought my RJ-45+ last year and installed it when I closed the pool in the fall. It has less than one full season on it. Disappointing.

Their remedy for me is they are mailing me a test pipe so that I can put that in place of the cell and ship the cell to them for testing. Once they determine what is wrong with the cell, they will either fix it and ship it back or send me another one under warranty.

I was not able to get a definitive time frame for when I would receive a working cell.

Welcome to TFP! :wave: It is always disappointing when a new product shows errors. We see it with just about every popular manufacture out there. What appears to be a positive note in your case is that DSP is going to send you a dummy cell to install, which by my estimate you'll only need for about a month or so anyway before closing right? While the pool is closed, they will test your cell and either repair or replace it for next season. Isn't that a good thing? Some other manufactures would say after 90 days or if it was a DIY install - "Sorry, we can't help". They wouldn't do anything for you at all.
