FYI for those that have this problem in the future. I read past posts about the same issue here. Discountsaltpool.com has changed how they deal with this issue. They asked me no questions and did not try any troubleshooting. I bought my RJ-45+ last year and installed it when I closed the pool in the fall. It has less than one full season on it. Disappointing.
Their remedy for me is they are mailing me a test pipe so that I can put that in place of the cell and ship the cell to them for testing. Once they determine what is wrong with the cell, they will either fix it and ship it back or send me another one under warranty.
I was not able to get a definitive time frame for when I would receive a working cell.
