Hello! I was told by my pool company that I should get the 3" tablets. I have a salt water pool but I think he wants me to put those in until my salt is added etc. Can anyone tell me what brands are good? Some reviews with certain ones like Chlorox raise the CYA levels. I wasn't sure if this is true with all tablets? I would appreciate any suggestions as tot what I should get. Thank you!

All tablets raise the CYA. They do make Cal Hypo tablets but those are rare to come across anyway. The rest add CYA.
Use pool essentials chlorinating liquid from the pool aisle at Walmart. It's 10% and
PoolMath will tell you how much you need each day.
Stay on the high side of target as this (dosing) is all new to you and you want wiggle room as you learn.
