check valve right after hayward flow switch an issue?

Hi all,

would it be a problem to put a 2" flap based check valve directly after the flow sensor of my hayward salt water cell?

I know it's not ideal, but would it actually be a problem? I know after the sensor there should be 5x the diameter of the pipe (so 10") straight.. but.. does a check valve count as straight?

You can put the CV AFTER the flow switch.
