Changing filter schedule help

I’ve been running my filter 24/7 since opening. I want to change it to running during the day only as we just had solar installed. Can someone help with my schedule please? I need the water to heat in the morning for a couple of hours to get it up to 87 as it drops a bit overnight and have an electric heat pump. I’m running a Hayward system capable of 40,000 gallons. My pool is 12,200 gallons.

I honestly have no idea. We have an enphase system.

The simpler question would have been whether the solar provides electricity for your home or heat for your pool water. Enphase makes inverters for photovoltaic (electric power) systems. I have them, too, and after 10 years only 1 of 36 micro-inverters failed and needed replacement. I'm impressed by their reliability.

So the short answer is that it probably doesn't matter because your solar electric power offsets your bill regardless of time of day. If that's not the case, you'll need to learn how your solar affects your bill.

My solar system and batteries supply power for my whole house, including the electric pool heater. I just figuring out how it all works, but thought I would be most beneficial to use the filter during the day rather than at night. I may be over thinking it. It’s a pretty big system - 48 panels and four batteries. But we are still getting the hang of how it works.
