Just tested my pool. Results are below.
FC - 6.5
CC - 0.5
pH - 7.4
CH - 200
CYA - 30

My concern is the low CH level for my gun nite pool. Should I raise it to recommended levels on pool math calculator?
If so, what is the best source to acquire calcium chloride? I would need 25lbs.

What is the CH of your fill water? Do you add fill water regularly or do you get sufficient rain to replace water from evaporation, splash out, backwash, etc?

You do not need to add calcium at this time. It would be great if you can let your pH climb to the upper 7's. When it reaches 8, lower it no lower than 7.6.

I would not let the CH go below 200. If it does, then add calcium chloride to get to 250 ppm CH.

Will do. My pH naturally climbs anyway so that won’t be a problem.

Are there better options online for calcium chloride than at Lowe’s?

Some folks use deicer -- but you are in the south so not readily available! I would check Amazon, I think some folks (with Prime) get it on there.

If you use Amazon at all, use Amazon Smile and select Troublefreepool as your charity. We can use all the help we can get to pay the bills.
