Century B2983 2 speed pump - rattles on high, quiet on low (video)

Pressure is fine on high and low so eliminated suction or blockage I believe. Some research leads me to believe the rattle is either debris or broken part of the impeller or something and not bearings.

Thoughts are appreciated. See video below.

Open it up and check the impeller.

Maybe a bad impeller or impeller ring.

Maybe something stuck in the impeller.

Maybe bad bearings.

I have the new pump on standby in the garage now.

Question: if the old pump on high is no longer making a bad noise, but is running hotter than usual, should I wait for it to quit all together, or just go ahead and replace? I want to get as much mileage out of the old one I can.
