Capping Hayward Saddle fitting.

Removing dreaded hayward puck chlorinator. Want to cap the Hayward saddle fittings for the feed lines, or find a solution to permanently plug the 3/8" holes in my 2" pipes.

Anyone else solve this? Any good ideas?

You can tap it for the closest npt which is 1/8 npt and use a pvc threaded plug.
