Cannot remove filter lid to change filter

Hi all, sorry if this is a redundant question, but I cannot get the lid of my filter off to change the cartridge. I lubricated the ring and it is turning fine but the lid is not turning at all. Any ideas for how to open this up without breaking the filter? I’ve followed other typical steps, let air pressure out, drain water etc. No go. I’ve never had this issue before changing my filters. Welcome to TFP! You might try pouring some warm or hot water around the ring to see if it helps break it loose.
