Can you upgrade the Hayward Aqua Plus P4 to a PS4 for automation capability?

If I’m understanding the little bit of info I’ve been able to find on the internet. If this is correct. The main boards are the same and the differences are the control keypads. I have a P4 control keypad PN: G1-0660090-1. My main board is PN: G1-011049F-1F software rev 4.45. I would like to do an upgrade so I can install the Aqua Connect Serial Home Automation Interface Module (AQ-CO-SERIAL) to have 2 way communication with my Homeseer Home Automation system. Do I just need to replace the P4 with a PS4 keypad control to make this work? Any help or advice from any pros out there will be greatly appreciated. Thanks ?

The original board is usually programmed as a specific type and replacing the keypad won't change the board.

If you replace a board, the keypad programs the board to match.

So, you would have to replace the board and keypad at the same time.

Also, I don't know if the keypad will fit the original box.
