Hi, I have a small chip in my coping around my pool. Call me annal, but Id like to fix it. I asked my PB how to fix it. He said "There isnt any way to fix it. Nothing will stick to your coping " Is there any product I can use to fill in the chip...or can I replace the coping altogether with a new one? See pic attached of chipped coping. Any advice? Thanx.

While there may be "something" that could be applied to that chip, getting it to remain could be tricky. Even with the best repair/cosmetic techniques, you may not like the final outcome. Some might say for an ideal repair, you should cut-out that paver and replace with a new one, but then you risk causing more harm than good. This may be one of those times to put the pool OCD on the shelf and close your eyes each time you walk by that area. Ha. But let's bump this discussion and see if any members have other thoughts.

If it were multi-color, epoxy stone fillers like used throughout travertine should hold I would think. But, about anything you did put on that solid color would look less natural than a given chip or two. It looks like you have a sealer over it all, so maybe put a little sealer on that to get same hue as top.
