I have brand new sand . My sand filter fingers have no cracks or anything so it isint sand . Everyday I have been vacuuming up what I think is a combo of bird poop and pollen. Well this morning I vacuumed pool like usual. When I was done I forgot to put the filter on . I got home from work and the pool floor was spotless. I put the filter on and 2 hours later theirs the stuff on bottom of pool again. Like what the heck is going on ? My pool
Is crystal clear and all the numbers / chemistry of fine. Is the stuff suspended in the water and the pump being turned on causes it to get pushed into the crevices of the pool liner ? I’m baffled

You can try putting a skimmer sock on the return jet & see what you catch. Unless you’ve decided the polar plunge really is your jam…

Let’s see if the sock catches anything. If you had a robotic cleaner you could also check the basket. Maybe you just got a little sand down the stand pipe or something. After ruling the sand out it may just be that the particulate is too fine for your filter to catch & a little de may do the trick.
I get alot of dust in my pool (there’s a lot of gravel here) so its a constant struggle but using a little de after backwashing & running my cleaner daily helps me keep my sanity & keeps my pool ocd in check.
