I have been at 15ppm fc for about a week (been trying to get it down from over 30 for about 3 weeks) TA is currently 130. Have been working it down from 220. Current pH 7.6. Constantly wants to creep up. Not running my salt cell. It has been rainy cloudy and very cool for the last 30 days. It was 90 degrees and sunny yesterday. CYA 75. TC .5. Does running the pump 24/7 contribute to any type of chemical issue? I am trying to hit the targets that the pool math shows and just seem to not really get there. I do use anything a bit conservatively as I would rather add acid 3x rather than fix an issue from 1x too much ( when we filled the pool my beau was trying to help and dumped lots of pool store recipe in it without measuring and I have been 30 days trying to fix it). My FC just stumps me. no swimmers and the water is pristine clear and a chilly 70 degrees most of the time. Never have I had water this clear. The pump will go on a timer soon. Just wondering if I need to shut it down manually until then to help myself out.
