Title says it all except I'm not clear what the little box the antenna connects to is called. Mine has never been mounted and I'm going to rewire it tomorrow. I want to mount it once I replace the antenna (next step). Can I mount it upside down? I guess if I tape it up there and it works, there's no issue? It would be more protected from the rain for sure (like we get rain!
) I'm thinking I could even mount a barrier to protect it from the hot Texas sun from the west.
Searching yielded no one that has discussed this I think. (Issue is I have wood under the roofline and the rest is stone. I have not (yet) drilled into stone but I know it's already in my future. I am a wanna be DIYer about a lot of things.
)
I know mine is very old and no longer supported but I am hoping, in the fall, to finally get the pool resurfaced and my equipment leveled, updated, and organized better. So I am saving my money for doing that right now.
Thanks as always, this forum is the best,
Marci
