I am considering replacing my single speed pump with a Calimar VSP, however, I am wondering how it will interface with my SWG. Specifically, I now have a timer that controls both the pump and SWG, the Calimar VSP seems to have it's own timer for operation. How would i connect the SWG so that it was only powered on when the pump is on?

Keep your existing timer for the SWCG. Schedule it to be on during the times you schedule your VS pump to be on.
I had two timers and removed the one for the main pump when I installed the Calimar VS. Run strait power.
