Our pool construction was completed and filled with water in March this year. Due to the slope of our yard, the back wall/bond beam is elevated above grade. Based on what I could find online, this appears to be “calcium weepers”. They’ve progressively gotten larger since I started noticing them (maybe in April). There is a small amount of water on them, but doesn’t have visibly running water.

The PB said they’d pass it along to the warranty department but wanted to get opinions from this group of very wise pool owners. I assume the PB will give me some BS answer that won’t properly address the issue.

CH is a little low at 240. All other chemicals are in line. Knock on wood, the chemical portion of a new pool owner has so far gone very smoothly.

I’m a newbie so my terminology may not be correct…but I tried my best!

If the shell was totally buried you would never see or care about that.

If the pool is not leaking and water level dropping I would not worry about it.

Are there any penetrations or water features in that area?

The gunite could be wicking up water from the ground and then findings its way out at that location.

There is a sheer arc in the middle of the back wall. One of the spots the weeping is coming from is on the area of the wall that the pvc for the sheer arc doesn’t get anywhere near. The plumbing for the sheer arc comes from the left side (left if facing the back of the wall) to the middle of the pool.

The ground itself isn’t wet enough to assume it’s pulling moisture from the ground. The ground is only damp immediately under the areas of concern which leads me to believe it’s coming from the pool.
