I couldn't get a proper reading for my CH with my home test kit, so I'll be heDing to the pool store unfortunately.

I remember it showing up as an issue during pool opening, but the store specifically told me not to adjust (since it wasn't too off) because I just purchased a heat pump and it could damage it (& something about it adjusting on its own!?)

Any thoughts or tips
For home kit or whether that's true?

Nothing was happening it was staying clear no matter how many drops I added if anything. I did it a second time just now and now it turned blue at 16 drops so it's at 160. Do I leave it there?

Also for PH test with Taylor kit I find the results are different if interpreted immediately and after a few minutes ...which is more accurate?

160 CH is fine with a vinyl liner. Next time you do that test, try adding an extra drop or two of the R-0011L to make the color a bit bolder.

The pH test is done right away.
