Calcium Hardness Taylor Test

I have noticed several times now that my solution in the mixer goes from red to blue, but then within 30 seconds, is red again until I add another drop to make it blue. I am not sure why the change, but this has happened several times in the last few days so something must be going on.

I think with most tests the color can revert backwards if allowed to sit. Once you go from light red>purple>then finally light baby blue, it's done and discard.
