I've used Prestone Driveway Heat in the past and haven't noticed any adverse affects.

Mike Hawk- I'm just curious, but how often do you have to add calcium to your water? I would have thunk that OK water was already on the hard side?? Otherwise, I'm all over a good sale! Thanks for sharing

I have to add once or twice a season because I have a leak

I installed a Fleck 7000 sxt 64k grain softener last year, hence why I had the test kit.

I wish .... you can not find any of that deicer anywhere down here. Going to just have to buy some "pool" calcium
